====== HUB 44 ====== Movement by Hublot Self-winding chronograph movement. This calibre evolved out of the collaboration of Hublot with La Joux-Perret as a further development of the famous Valjoux 7750, the most popular contemporary chronograph calibre. One notable addition to later versions of the HUB 44 (or La Joux-Perret 8144) is its use of a column wheel rather than the cam-based chronograph system of the donor movement. La Joux-Perret produced similar column wheel 7750 movements for Graham, Chopard, Corum, and Eberhard. Alfred Rochat also produced a column wheel variant of the 7750 for Chronoswiss, as did ETA themselves for Longines. Characteristical difference to the 7750 is the implementation of the rotor, which is manufactured in tungsten carbide and is skeletonized. **Description:** * Automatic chronograph with weight segment in tungsten carbide * Escapement stone lever * Yoke winding system * Glucydur balance wheel * Nivaflex mainspring * Incabloc shock protection **Functions:** * Small seconds at the 9 * 1/8-seconds counter, 30-minutes counter, 12-hours counter * Rapid calendar advance * Hacking seconds * Stop mechanism Cam switching * Complications 12-hours counter, day quickset feature **Data:** * 13¼ lignes * D 30.0 mm, H 7.9 mm * 25 jewels * 28,800 A/h * Number of components 252 * Power reserve 42h **Production period:** * From ca.
