The **Calatrava, Ref. 6119** is a modern incarnation of the classic [[Patek Philippe Calatrava]]. It was launched in spring [[2021]].

The bezel is in the traditional [[guilloched]] [[hobnail]] ("[[Clous De Paris]]") style, well known from this watch range.

This model uses the [[manual winding]] calibre [[PP 30-255|30-255]], a flat movement with 28,800 A/h, high power reserve of 65 hours and small seconds.

A special feature of the movement is its two mainspring barrels in a parallel arrangement. They relax together and engage with the central pinion, increasing the torque of the movement and allowing the deployment of a balance with twice the moment of inertia of 10 mg/cm2 (the highest of all Patek Philippe 4-Hz movements).

A [[stop seconds]] feature that blocks the balance when the crown is pulled makes it possible to set the time with one-second accuracy. When the crown is pushed home, the mechanism kick-starts the balance to set it in motion again.
