  • The Amtorg Trading Corporation, a Russian organization, orders to buy up all the machines and parts of the North American Dueber-Hampdon Watch Co. and to transport them to Russia, where they are used to build an own Russian watch industry.
  • The watch manufacturer Minerva is created by renaming “Robert Villeret Frères” to “Minerva SA, Villeret”.
  • LeCoultre introduces Cal. 101, the smallest watch movement to date.
