  *  On 18 September 2020 a memorial to the company's founder [[Walter Lange]] was unveiled to mark the 175th anniversary of [[Glashütte]]'s watchmaking industry. By doing so, the town is paying tribute to the man who brought precision watchmaking to Glashütte for a second time after the German reunification in 1990.
  *  [[Blancpain]] presents the elegant, ultra-flat model [[Blancpain Villeret Ultraplate|Ultraplate]] in the // Villeret // collection. The case is made of [[stainless steel]] or [[red gold]], the dial in brilliant white or opaline. The 1150 movement guarantees a long power reserve of 4 days (96 hours).
  *  The global pandemic forces the closure of nearly every industry event, ending [[Baselworld]] and [[SIHH]] permanently.
