**Lange 1A** is a luxury watch by [[A. Lange & Söhne]].

The Lange 1A is a special edition of the [[A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1|Lange 1]], presented [[1998]] on the occasion of the opening of the second Lange production building. It stands in the tradition of the historic "1A" [[pocket watch]]es by A. Lange & Söhne with [[lever]] and [[escape wheel]] in gold and hand-engraved balance, lever and [[escape wheel]] cocks in gold. For lever and [[escape wheel]] specially hardened [[white gold]] was used, which is much more resistant to wear compared to [[yellow gold]].

The watch is powered by the [[manual winding]] [[manufacture]] movement [[calibre]] [[Lange L901.1|L901.1]] and has [[hacking seconds]], [[power reserve indicator]] and [[big date]]. The dial is in solid silver, the hands are made of gold, the case is in 18ct [[yellow gold]].

The edition was limited to 100 pieces and numbered consecutively.
