**Martin Braun** is a watchmaker, founder of the [[Martin Braun]] company, and currently operates under the [[Antoine Martin]] brand.

===== Biography =====
Martin Braun rose to prominence after becoming a Master Watchmaker in [[1991]], restoring antique watches from the likes of [[A. Lange & Söhne]]. He became known for his work with complicated watches.

In [[2000]], Braun launched his own watch brand, [[Martin Braun]]. His first piece, the [[Martin Braun EOS]], gained wide acclaim.

In [[2007]], Braun brought his brand under the [[Watchland]] umbrella of [[Franck Muller]] in [[Geneva]].

Braun decided to leave Muller's company in [[2009]], leaving the Martin Braun brand behind. He launched a new brand, [[Antoine Martin]] in [[2012]], and [[Manufacture Horlogère Obwald]] in [[Alpnach]] near [[Lucerne]].
