Type of [[balance spring]]

[[Hairspring]] where the last spiral turn is bent double knee-shaped and upwards. This hairspring, which was invented by the famous watchmaker [[Abraham-Louis Breguet]] in [[1795]] and named after him, extends more evenly to all sides.
