**Pasha** is a wristwatch by [[Cartier]].

One of the model classics of Cartier. The Pasha is the first [[waterproof]] watch, [[1932]] made by [[Cartier, Louis|Louis Cartier]] for the Sultan of Marrakech, who had expressed the wish to be able to wear his [[wristwatch]] also while bathing. Cartier invented a device, by which the [[crown]] watch is protected by a removable metal cap with internal rubber seal; the cap itself is secured by a metal ring on the outer tube, so that it cannot be lost. To operate the [[crown]] the steel cap is unscrewed and screwed back on after the adjustment.
