The **Clockmakers' Company** is an English watchmaker association.

The Clockmakers' Company is a time-honored association of watchmakers in the City of London, which was already founded in [[1631]] on the edict of King Charles I. Its official name is **Worshipful Company of Clockmakers**. Originally no one who was not a member of this association was allowed to sell watches. Today it is a charitable association.

The motto of the association is // Tempus Rerum Imperator//, in English // Time is the ruler of all things//.
