====== Colimaçonnage ======

The **colimaçonnage** is a spiral [[decoration]] generally performed on the ratchets, the [[bridge]]s, the [[rotor]], the [[barrel]] or barrel cover. This ornamentation is achieved by means of a grinding wheel that is rotated on the surface of the workpiece to produce spiral lines.
