**Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC)** is the official [[chronometer]] testing organization in Switzerland. It was founded in [[1973]] by the [[FH]] and five Swiss Cantons and remains the premier testing organization in the country, with its name being synonymous with [[chronometer certification]] today.
