Credor was created to give Seiko Group a high-end watch brand to compete with the best of Switzerland and Germany. Unlike [[Grand Seiko]], with its distinctively [[Japan]]ese style, Credor watches tend towards classic styling. Credor watches are constructed at the specialist [[Shizukuishi Watch Studio]] in Morioka, Iwate, Japan along with [[Grand Seiko]] and certain other luxury and specialist models from [[Seiko]].
