====== Decimal time ======
During the French Revolution between [[1793]] until [[1806]] one tried to introduce a time counting after the decimal system. This failed, however, because of the lack of acceptance by the population, and one was therefore forced to return to the traditional duodecimal system (also known as base-12 or dozenal), as it is still in use today.
