It was introduced in [[1992]] and remains in production [[as of 2019]]. ===== Overview ===== Based on the [[ETA 2892-A2]], the ETA 2000-1 was designed for compact applications like ladies' watches. The 2000-1 measures just 8¾ [[ligne]]s (19.40 mm) in diameter and 3.60 mm high, compared to the 11½ [[ligne]]s (25.60 mm) 2892-A2. All other features of the ETA 2000-1 are similar to the 2892-A2, including [[automatic]]al winding, ball-bearing [[rotor]], bi-directional winding, power reserve 40 hours, date with rapid advance and [[hacking seconds]]. The [[ETA 2094]] [[chronograph]] movement is derived from the 2000-1. This calibre is used in ladies' size watches, for instance in the [[Rainer Brand Sybaris]].
