It was introduced in [[1971]] and remains in production [[as of 2019]]. ===== Overview ===== Designed for ladies watches and other small applications, the 2678 measures just 7¾ [[ligne]]s (17.2 mm) in diameter and is 5.35 mm tall. It includes hour, minute, and second hands and both day and date wheels. The slightly thinner [[ETA 2671]] is similar but omits the day wheel. Mechanical movement with [[automatic]] winding, ball-bearing [[rotor]], bi-directional winding, [[power reserve]] 38 hours, date with [[quickset]], [[hacking seconds]]. The movement is used for ladies' watches.
