The **ETA 7753** is an [[automatic chronograph]] movement by [[Valjoux]]/[[ETA]] based on the popular [[Valjoux 7750]].

===== Overview =====
Very closely related to the [[Valjoux 7750]], the ETA 7753 is a [[self-winding]] [[chronograph]] movement with 27 [[jewels]], ball-bearing [[rotor]], unidirectional winding, 1/8-seconds counter, 30-minutes counter, 12-hours counter, 28.800 A/h, and power reserve of about 44 hours. The differentiators between the 7753 and 7750 are the relocation of the minutes counter to 3 00 (rather than 12 00) and the date change by [[corrector]] button at 10 00. This gives the movement a classic "3 6 9" subdial layout instead of the "6 9 12" format familiar in the 7750.

Since the takeover of [[Valjoux]] by [[ETA]] the calibre Valjoux 7753 is called calibre **ETA 7753**.
