====== Gosteli, Paul ======

**Paul Gosteli** was a Swiss watchmaker.

Gosteli worked in the 1920s in [[Sonvilier]], near [[La Chaux-de-Fonds]]. In [[1921]] he registered the watch brand Stepp and manufactured watches in the [[Art Deco]] style. In the mid-1950's he invented and patented the principle of the [[peripheral rotor]] for [[self-winding]] watches, which was later revived by [[Carl F. Bucherer]].
