The **52000** family of calibres is a series of [[automatic]] [[manufacture]] movements produced by [[IWC]] since [[2015]].

===== Details =====
The 52000 calibre family was introduced in [[2015]] to reduce the company's reliance on [[ebauche]] movements from [[ETA]]. It is an evolution of the previous calibre, [[IWC 5000]]. As high-end movements, they feature bi-directional [[pawl]] winding using IWC's [[Pellaton]] system. The automatic winding system powers [[two barrel]]s, giving an impressive [[7 days|7 days of power reserve]].

All movements in the family beat at 28,800 A/h and have a power reserve of 168 hours.
