====== IWC 69370 ======
**Cal. 69370** (and similar **69375** and **69380**) is a midrange [[in-house]] [[automatic chronograph]] movement produced by [[IWC]] since [[2016]].

===== Details =====
The 69000 calibre family is similar in architecture to the [[IWC 79320]] and [[IWC 75320]] which were based on the popular [[Valjoux 7750]] series. IWC greatly modified the movement, however, including implementing a [[column wheel]] system rather than the cam-based 7750. The Cal. 69000 series can properly be called an [[manufacture|in-house]] movement, which enhances the reputation of the company's watches.

Although it features bi-directional [[pawl]] winding, it is a "push-pull" design like the [[Seiko]] [[magic lever]] system rather than IWC's [[Pellaton]] system. This makes the 69000 calibres more affordable than the [[IWC 89000]] family.

**Cal. 69370** is a three-register design with a [[date window]]. It features [[small seconds]] at 6 00 rather than 9 00 as on the [[IWC 75320|Cal. 75320]]/[[IWC 79320|Cal. 79320]], which it replaces. This movement was only used in a few special edition watches in [[2016]] and early [[2017]].

The full-production of this movement is **Cal. 69375**. This is used in a wide variety of [[IWC Ingenieur Chronograph 3808|Ref. 3808 Ingenieur Chronograph]] models since [[2017]].

The similar **69380** adds a [[day window]] at 3 00 to the Cal. 69375.
