Back in the [[1930]] years [[IWC]] outfitted a watch type specifically for aviation. The abbreviation [[UTC]] stands for //Universal Time Coordinated//. For travelers who in quick succession change continents and time-zones or communicate around the globe, it offers a practical help to inform with their 24-hour indication window on the universal time, based on the globally binding [[GMT]] (Greenwich Mean Time), and the current time, even when trespassing the date limit.
