====== JLC 919 ======
**Calibre 919** is an [[automatic]] [[perpetual calendar]] [[alarm]] movement from [[Jaeger-LeCoultre]].

Introduced in [[1989]], Calibre 919 was one of the most ambitious technical achievements for the company, which was recovering from the [[quartz crisis]]. It is the pinnacle of development for Jaeger-LeCoultre's [[Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox|Memovox]] series of calibres and went into the [[Jaeger-LeCoultre Grand Réveil|Grand Réveil]], a limited-edition watch.

The most notable aspects of Calibre 919 are its two main complications 

  * It features a [[perpetual calendar]] with a four-digit date and [[moon phase]] indicator
  * It also features the [[alarm]] that the Memovox is known for, with the addition of a circumferential brass gong attached to the case

Calibre 919 is the first of a modern series of Memovox movements. It consists of 350 parts.
