The 944 is a [[hand-wound]] [[skeletonized]] movement made up of 340 pieces. It features a [[minute repeater]] which is activated by closing a curtain over the skeleton movement. When the curtain is closed, the watch resembles the original [[Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso]] from the 1930's. But opening the curtain reveals a full ruthenium skeleton movement.

The JLC 944 runs at 21600 vph and has 35 jewels. It is a [[double barrel]] movement with a power reserve of 35 hours.
