====== Landeron 39 ======
The **Landeron 39** was a [[chronograph]] movement produced in the 1940's and 1950's.

Said to have been designed by James Aubert prior to his death in [[1939]], the [[Landeron]] 39 reflected the state of the art in [[column wheel]] chronograph movements at that time. It resembles the [[Venus 175]] family but differs in many details, though both are 7-column designs. It is 14.5 ligne in size with sub seconds at 9 00 and a 30- or 45-minute counter at 3 00.
