====== Lemania 1340 ====== **Calibre 1340** (and the similar **Calibre 1341** and **1343**) is an [[automatic]] [[chronograph]] movement jointly developed by [[Lemania]] and [[Omega]]. It was replaced by [[Lemania 5100|Cal. 5100]] after [[1974]]. ===== History ===== [[Omega]] and [[Lemania]] jointly developed an [[automatic]] [[chronograph]] movement for introduction in [[1972]]. **Cal. 1340** was introduced first, with Omega using the similar **Cal. 1341** as their [[Omega 1040|Cal. 1040/1041]]. It is a [[cam-switched]] [[automatic chronograph]] and closely followed the introduction of the [[Chronomatic]] and other famous movements. Cal. 1340 has an unusual arrangement of hands and subdials.
