**Georges-Auguste Leschot** was a Swiss watchmaker and engineer (1800-1884).

Son of Jean-Frédéric Leschot. Inventor of the mass production of high quality watch parts at [[Vacheron Constantin]] (Pantograph, [[1838]]) and other important achievements in watchmaking history.

[[1845]] Leschot and the [[manufacture]] [[Vacheron Constantin]] is awarded the coveted prize "Auguste de la Rive" by the "Geneva Société des Arts" as a recognition for special pioneering achievements in the field of watchmaking.
