**Mercure** is a German watch manufacturer.

Mercure is a new, [[2008]] launched brand of the watch manufacturer [[Jacques Etoile]], based in Lörrach/South Baden. The main focus of the dedicated watch créateur Klaus Jakob was not to reinvent the watch, but to revive the price range specially under EUR 1,000.-. Solid Swiss watch movements, as well as the one or other horological delicacy form the basis of the Mercure collection.

The prices of the series "Heritage", reminiscent of the 1950 classics, already start below 500,- EUR.

CEO Klaus Jakob obtains the cases of the watches as always from the case manufacturer Walter Fricker in [[Pforzheim]]. The company Graf from Grenderich provides for the well-crafted leather straps.
