**Nappey** was a French watch brand active between [[1946]] and the late 1960s.

===== History =====
Nappey was founded in [[Besançon]], France in [[1946]] by Jules Nappey. The company was successful at first, even sponsoring the Tour de France between [[1958]] and [[1960]]. The company was a founding member of [[Heuroplan]], along with famous Swiss names like [[Movado]] and [[Juvenia]].

At the Salon de Besançon in [[1960]], Nappey showed the novel [[Nappey Jumelles Times|Jumelles Times]] ("Twin Time") watch, which packed two movements side-by-side in the same case. This was perhaps the first [[double movement]] watch and was pitched as an aid for jet-setting travelers.

Nappey fell on hard times after this and was out of business in the 1970s. An attempt was made to revive the brand as Societe Nouvelle des Montres Nappey but this also failed.
