**De Ville X2 Big Date** is a square wristwatch by [[Omega]].

In [[1999]] Omega presented as part of the elegant men's watches series [[Omega De Ville|De Ville]] for the first time the new [[co-axial escapement]], invented by [[George Daniels]].

The series // X2 // is the square line within the [[Omega De Ville|De Ville]] series. "X2" alludes simultaneously to the roman/arabic twelve of the dial and also to the shape of the housing.
