This model, especially in the luxury version with the material combination of [[titanium]]/[[tantalum]]/[[rose gold]], as flagship of a new series of striking, large-sized models, helped the world-famous brand [[Omega]] in the [[1990]]s after a period of Sleeping Beauty to attain a furious comeback. The new watches not only gained attention by a convincing design, but also through maximum production quality and by a compelling price-performance ratio.

The current series bears, according to the maximum depth, the term **Seamaster 300 M Chrono Diver**.
