It is an oversized version of the 2003 newly produced Omega Seamaster Railmaster Chronometer. The original Railmaster was first introduced in the year 1957 and strengthened the already existing connection between Omega and the railroad. Although the company hat officially delivered pocket watches to railway companies since 1895, the Railmaster was the first watch that was designed specifically for railway employees, scientists, technicians and electricians as well as all other professions who worked with or in the vicinity of strong electric currents, for it had at that time a special antimagnetic double caseback to protect the movement against the damaging effects of electric fields. This 2003 introduced model is a revised re-edition of the classic Omega Railmaster. It is presented here in an oversized version (49.2 mm case diameter) with a former Unitas pocket watch calibre, equipped with manual winding. The elegant, perfectly legible watch was also delivered in three smaller sizes as well as Chronograph. **Reference:** * 2803.52.37 stainless steel, leather strap * 2806.72.31 stainless steel, mother of pearl * 221.53.49.10.01.002 white gold, leather strap * 221.53.49.10.01.001 red gold, leather strap **Movement:** * Manual winding movement Omega 2201 (basis Unitas 6498-2), 21,600 A/h * COSC certified chronometer * Rhodinated movement, with Geneva stripes and gold plated engraving * Power reserve 53 h **Case:** * Stainless steel, polished/satin-finished / white gold / red gold * D 49.2 mm, H 12.5 mm * Domed sapphire crystal * Screw-in back with sapphire crystal * Waterproof to 150 m **Dial:** * Black (gold version black enamel) * Hands and indexes with luminous material Superluminova **Functions:** * Hours, minutes, small seconds **Bracelet:** * Brown or black alligator leather strap with tang-type buckle **Warranty:** * 3 years ===== Literature ===== *Omega-Uhren.
