On the occasion of the Olympic Games 2008 Omega launched the series //Olympic Timeless Collection//. The watches are reminiscent of the first Omega chronographs, which have been used at the Olympic Games 1932 in Los Angeles for time measurement, when Omega for the first time was in charge of the official timekeeping. The new chronographs bear the Omega inscription which was usual in the early models, and the Omega logo in red. In addition, at each watch the inscription "Official Timekeeper" is stamped into the caseback. The model shown here is a variant of the chronograph Speedmaster Broad Arrow from the series Omega Speedmaster. The name of the watch, which features the symmetrically balanced tricompax arrangement of the displays, is derived from the distinctive arrow-shaped hours hand. With this special edition two movements can be found in the white version (or the black with rubber strap) the exclusive automatic chronograph calibre Omega 3313 with co-axial escapement is used, and in the black version with the steel bracelet the exclusive automatic chronograph calibre Omega 3303 without co-axial escapement. **Reference:** * 321.10.42.50.04.001 white, stainless steel bracelet * 3557.50.00 black, stainless steel bracelet * 222.32.46.50.01.001 black, rubber strap, 45.5 mm **Movement:** * Self-winding chronograph movement Omega 3313, 28,800 A/h * Co-axial escapement and free-sprung balance * Black version with steel bracelet Omega 3303 (basis Frédéric Piguet 1285), 28,800 A/h * Column-wheel chronograph * Chronometer certification (COSC) * Power reserve 52 h (55 h) **Case:** * Stainless steel, polished/satin-finished * D 44 mm (45.5 mm), H ? mm * Domed sapphire crystal with antireflective coating on both sides * Waterproof to 100 m * Black version with rubber strap Waterproof to 600 m **Dial:** * White, black Arabic numerals * Black versions white Arabic numerals * Red Omega logo and inscription * Hands and indexes with luminous material **Functions:** * Hours, minutes, small seconds, date * Chrono-seconds, 30-minutes and 12-hours counters * Tachymeter scale **Bracelet:** * Stainless steel link bracelet with folding clasp / black rubber strap ===== Literature ===== *Omega-Uhren.
