On the occasion of the Olympic Games [[2008]] Omega launched the series // Olympic Timeless Collection //. The watches recall the first Omega chronographs, which have been used at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles [[1932]] for measuring time, when Omega was in charge of the official timing for the first time. The new chronographs bear the Omega logo customary with the early models and the Omega logo in red. In addition, each watch has the inscription "Official Timekeeper" stamped on the caseback.
