The **Calatrava, Ref. 5120** is a modern incarnation of the elegant 2-handed classic men's watch from [[Patek Philippe]], produced from [[2001]] through [[2016]].

This is the last 2-handed automatic watch from the [[Patek Philippe Calatrava Clous de Paris]] line.

Ref. 5120 is the smallest, simplest example of [[Patek Philippe Calatrava|the Calatrava]], closely resembling the classic "hobnail" Calatrava models. The case is just 35 mm in diameter, making it the smallest modern men's Calatrava, and includes the classic "[[Clous de Paris]]" pattern around the bezel and straight lugs. The simple dial emphasizes the two-hand timekeeping of this model.

Despite the classic look, however, a modern [[micro-rotor]] [[automatic]] movement lurks inside. [[PP 240|Cal. 240]], beats at 21,600 A/h with a high-tech silicon [[Spiromax]] [[hairspring]] and is shown off through a sapphire case back.

Ref. 5120 was introduced at [[World Watch and Jewellery Show]] [[Basel]] in [[2001]]. It was removed from the catalog in [[2017]] with no direct 2-handed replacement. The remaining [[Patek Philippe Calatrava Clous de Paris|Clous de Paris]] models ([[Patek Philippe Calatrava 5116|Ref. 5116]] and [[Patek Philippe Calatrava 5119|Ref. 5119]]) both have [[small seconds]].

[[Patek Philippe]] won the Geneva Hallmark at the [[Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève]] for the Calatrava 5120 in November, [[2001]].
