**“The Crow and the Fox” Automaton Ref. 5249** is a wristwatch by [[Patek Philippe]].

In [[2026]] presents Patek Philippe the first [[automaton]] wristwatch in its contemporary history, inspired by a [[pocket watch]] designed by Louis Cottier in 1958, which is shown at the [[Patek Philippe Museum]].  Based on Jean de La Fontaine's fable “The Crow and the Fox”, this model displays the hours and minutes on demand. 

The animation is performed on the surface of a [[rose gold]] [[Officer's watch|Officer’s]]-style case and a brown “Matara” dial.

The watch is powered by the self-winding caliber 31-260 PS HMD AU.
