Paul Gerber, born [[1950]] in Bern, is a watchmaker-repairer, who lives in Zurich since [[1976]] and operates in his own workshop. He is a member of the prestigious watches artist association [[AHCI]]. Various special watches belong to the previous work of the watch designer. In [[1997]] Paul Gerber designed the movement with [[alarm]] function for the world's first [[automatic]] [[chronograph]] with integrated mechanical alarm function by [[Fortis]]. He received entries in the // Guinness Book of Records // for the world's smallest wooden watch and for the world's most complicated [[wristwatch]]. The latter watch was constructed by [[Franck Muller]] in [[1992]] and at that time the most complicated [[wristwatch]] of the world. Gerber additionally incorporated the world's smallest [[flying tourbillon]]. In [[2007]], he received the famous award [[Prix Gaia]].
