====== Pendulum clock ======
A **pendulum clock** is a clock whose time standard is a pendulum, the so-called perpendicular. It was invented around [[1640]] by [[Galileo Galilei]], but built only by his son Vincenzo.

Clocks in the baroque or neo-classical style and with [[repetition]] are also called [[pendule]]s.
