====== Piaget 9P ====== Calibre **9P** is an ultra-thin hand-wound watch movement from Piaget. This famous ultra-thin watch movement has been produced since 1957. ===== Info ===== Thin watch movements were all the rage in the 1950's, with the 1.75 mm Piguet 21 being displaced by the Audemars Piguet/Jaeger-LeCoultre/Vacheron Constantin Cal. 2003 in 1953. Piaget developed their own competing movement, introducing Cal. 9P in 1957. At 2 mm thick, it wasn't quite competitive with these others, but it became famous nonetheless. Cal. 9P remains in production today. ===== See also ===== * Piguet 21 * Audemars Piguet 2003 **Manufacturer:** * Piaget **Description:** * Hand-wound ultra-thin movement **Functions:** * Hour/minute hands **Data:** * 19,800 A/h * 9 ligne (20.5 mm) wide, 2 mm high * 18 jewels **Production period:** * 1957-present
