**Jacques Piguet** is a Swiss watch producer.

The son of the [[ebauche movement]] manufacturer [[Frederic Piguet]], Jacques Piguet, together with [[Biver, Jean-Claude|Jean-Claude Biver]] revitalized the brand [[Blancpain]] as a manufacturer of luxury watches with [[mechanical watch]]es in [[1983]]. They provided an important impetus for the then incipient renaissance of mechanical watches that seemed largely written off during the so-called [[quartz crisis]].
