Introduced in [[1965]], Cal. 1556 added faster 19,800 A/h beat rate to the [[Rolex Day-Date|Day/Date]] complication. It is an [[automatic]] movement and a certified [[chronometer]]. [[Hacking seconds]] were added in [[1972]].
