It was a [[self-winding]] movement with bi-directional winding, 28,800 A/h, 27 [[jewels]]. Cal. 3000 was the last Rolex movement to use a flat [[hairspring]] rather than a [[Breguet overcoil]] but nevertheless achieved [[chronometer]] certification.
