====== Rolex 3035 ====== **Rolex 3035** is an automatic movement with date produced by Rolex from 1977 through 1988. ===== Overview ===== Rolex developed an entirely new watch movement series in the 1970s, sharing the same basic gear train between conventional automatic and quartz models. The resulting Cal. 3035 and Cal. 5035 were launched in 1977. These movements were much enhanced from previous Rolex offerings, operating at a modern 28,800 A/h and featuring quickset date advance. The hairspring has a Breguet overcoil and Microstella regulation. Cal. 3035 was the basis for a family of movements, including Cal. 3000, Cal. 3055, Cal. 3075, and Cal. 3085. It was replaced in 1988 by the workhorse Cal. 3135. **Manufacturer:** * Rolex **Description:** * Self-winding movement, bi-directional winding * Chronometer certificate (COSC) * Balance with regulation screws * Breguet hairspring * Kif shock protectionen for balance wheel and escape wheel **Functions:** * Central seconds * Rapid calendar advance * Stop seconds **Data:** * 12½ lignes * D 28.5 mm, H 6.3 mm * 27 jewels * 28,800 A/h * Power reserve 48h **Production period:** * Production 1977-1988 * Predecessor Rolex 1575 * Successor Rolex 3135 ===== External Links ===== * Rolex 3035
