====== Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 16500 ======
As the first [[automatic]] [[chronograph]] movement in [[1988]] the [[El Primero]] by [[Zenith]] is built in. It is clocked down for reasons of maintainability from the original 36,000 A/h to 28,800 A/h. In order not to disturb the balance of the dial design, the date function existing in the movement is not used. The movement receives the calibre name [[Rolex 4030]]. Since [[2000]] the in-house-developed [[manufacture]] movement [[Rolex 4130]] is used.

From the **Daytona Cosmograph** exist numerous variants. The best known version, however, is the [[steel]] version, which is delivered to the market only in strictly limited numbers. Therefore its scarcity has strongly increased the desirability of the purchase. One hears about long waits of 7 years and more.
