Calibre **5740C** was [[Seiko]]'s first 36,000 A/h "[[Hi-Beat]]" movement.

Introduced in [[1967]], the 5740C was used in a [[Seiko Lord Marvel]] watch before Hi-Beat technology came to the [[King Seiko]] and [[Grand Seiko]] ranges.
