**Ref. 836** is a large, slim [[anti-magnetic]] wristwatch produced by [[Sinn]] since [[2018]].

===== Overview =====
Introduced at [[Baselworld]] in [[2018]], Ref. 836 has a large 43 mm case just 10.6 mm thick. The dial is plain, with simple markers and a [[date window]] inset above the marker at 6 00. The stainless steel case is treated with Sinn's [[TEGIMENT]] hardening process and is magnetic resistant to 80,000 A/m. The crystal is coated sapphire.

Ref. 836 uses the slim [[ETA 2892A2]] movement, one of the least-expensive watches with this movement. The list price at launch was $1,790 or $2,050 with a matching bracelet.

Both the 836 and [[Sinn 936|936 chronograph]] have the look of a [[pilot's watch]] but are not characterized as such by Sinn. Instead, the company emphasizes the magnetic resistance and refers to them as "[[engineer watch|instrument]]" watches.
