**Sternglas** is a German watch manufacturer.

Designer Dustin Fontaine founded this watch brand in Hamburg in [[2016]] with a Kickstarter project.

He got support from the net via crowdfunding platform and was able to quickly build a loyal and enthusiastic community. The design of the watches is based on the classic [[Bauhaus]] style.

Both [[quartz]] and mechanical watches are on offer, which are affordable for everyone and should have a favorable price-performance ratio.

The model [[Sternglas Naos Automatic|Naos Automatic]] won the iF Design Award 2020 in the "Watches & Jewelry" category.
