The **Swiss Mechanical Watch Study and Promotion Group** was a trade group intended to promote Swiss mechanical watches during the [[quartz crisis]]. It used a trademark logo of the word, "WATCH" with the "CH" in red and a Swiss cross in the "H". It was based in [[La Chaux-de-Fonds]]. The Group was active from [[1980]] through [[1983]].

The Swiss Mechanical Watch Study and Promotion Group was founded by [[1980]] by leading Swiss watch component producers both inside and outside the [[ASUAG]]-[[SSIH]] concentration
