First opened in [[1979]], The Hour Glass expanded across Asia and is now one of the largest watch retailers in the world. The company operates more than 40 stores in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, Japan, and Hong Kong.

The company briefly owned the [[Gérald Genta]] and [[Daniel Roth]] brands from [[1998]] until selling them to [[Bulgari]] in [[2000]].

The Hour Glass sells high-end Swiss brands including [[Audemars Piguet]], [[Breguet]], [[Bulgari]], [[Cartier]], [[Chopard]], [[De Bethune]], [[F. P. Journe]], [[Girard-Perregaux]], [[Hublot]], [[IWC]], [[MB&F]], [[Omega]], [[Panerai]], [[Parmigiani Fleurier]], [[Patek Philippe]], [[Piaget]], [[Richard Mille]], [[Roger Dubuis]], [[Rolex]], [[Sinn]], [[TAG Heuer]], [[Tudor]], [[Ulysse Nardin]], [[Urwerk]], [[Zenith]], and others.
