**Charles Félicien Tissot** ([[1804]]-[[1873]]) was a watchmaker from Switzerland, who, together with his son [[Tissot, Charles Emile|Charles Emile Tissot]], founded a [[pocket watch]] factory in [[Le Locle]] in [[1853]] and thus laid the foundation for the watch manufacturer [[Tissot]]. The watches were initially manufactured in [[etablissage]] processing.
