**Tourist** was a Swiss watch brand in the 1950s and 1960s.

===== History =====
The Tourist brand was produced by the Ad. Allemann Son Watch Factory of Welschenrohr, Switzerland, in the 1950s. One important product was the [[Tourist Everlight]], the first wrist watch with an integrated electric light. It included an incandescent lamp bulb at 12 00 that could shine on the dial. A plastic ring helped distribute the light around the dial. The battery was charged using a port at 2 00, above the crown.

Another novel Tourist model was the [[1962]] [[Tourist Radio-Top]] which included [[dead beat]] [[central seconds]]. Tourist also created a [[dual movement]] [[dual time]] watch in the 1960s.

The brand does not appear to have lasted past the 1960s.
