**U-Boat** is a fashion watch brand based in Tuscany, Italy.

The brand was [[2000]] founded by Italo Fontana, a grandson of Ilvo Fontana, who in [[1942]] was to design highly rugged watches for the Italian Navy. However, production did not then materialize.

The brand's models catch the eye with their striking, idiosyncratic designs and oversized cases.
